A primary goal of the C-RTC is to support educators in their comprehensive approach to teaching diverse populations of learners. Thie aim is to offer practice opportunities that encompasses contextually linking industry requirements and standards with multicultural education practices and principles. Participants, via a "no blame-no shame" approach, engage in meaningful, multicultural and multidimensional expeiences.

Our C-RTC learning opportunities form pathways of support that lead to discovering one's passion, pursuing one's purpose, mastering the art of teachng and becoming a holistic multicultural being. Such support inspires teacher educators to reshape their thinking, cross cultural interactions and instructional practices in order to meet demands associated with academically progressive initiatives and culturally diverse learners, families and communities.

Participants should be able to...

• Create a social justice teacing statement
• Create and implement child-centered, culturally responsive and age/developmentally appropriate lesson plans
• Create high-quality multicultural education (MCE) learning environments
• Reflect on practice and make equity-driven modifications
• Integrate MCE information into teaching communications (brochure, flyer, newsletters, etc.) materials; and share information with collegues, community and families
